Tamar Braxton recently filed for divorce from husband Vincent Herbert, a move that shocked fans of the singer and the couple’s reality series, Tamar & Vince.

In fact, the news came just days before the trailer for their last season was released, leading some to believe that the breakup news could just be another form of publicity for the reality series.

Wendy Williams is skeptical as well, sharing on her popular daytime talk show that she hopes the pair, who’ve appeared on her show several times, aren’t using something as serious as divorce to garner viewers.

“So I’m thinking, Tamar and Vince, I hope that this is not like some sort of publicity stunt that you guys are doing to promote your upcoming reality show,” she said to her studio audience during “Hot Topics.”

Williams then weighed in on the rumors that Tamar is intimidated by Vince’s relationship with one of his latest clients, Remy Ma.

“There’s nothing wrong with Vince managing Remy Ma,” Wendy said. “Her and Papoose are always together so that’s a safe situation if you want to say what’s safe and what’s not with your man going on the road with somebody.”

Remy rumors aside, do you believe these two are using their divorce to promote Tamar & Vince?
