It appears that Kandi has responded to that awkward Xscape interview.

UPDATE 11/17/17

According to PEOPLE, Kandi says that recording a reunion album with her Xscape former bandmates  won’t happen because of creative differences:

“It’s always drama. We all think differently when it comes to handling business, or at least, the three of them think differently than me. It’s always them three against me, and I feel like I’m always made to be the villain. It’s really irritating and stressful,” she said.

It appears past tensions between members of ’90s R&B group Xscape have once again reared their ugly heads, and the “Just Kickin’ It” crew will be recording their comeback album without singer and songwriter Kandi Burruss.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star dropped the bomb during a group appearance on Watch What Happens Live, where a fan asked about a new album following their current reunion tour.

“Well, they are doing new music,” the Grammy winner shared. “I’m going to be doing Broadway and some other things, and they’ll be working on music.”

When host Andy Cohen asked why she wouldn’t be hitting the studio with fellow group members LaTocha Scott, Tamika Scott and Tameka “Tiny” Harris, Burruss admitted their past feuds have come back to haunt them from time to time.

“We [having to] rehash or whatever; whenever certain subjects come up of course, we bump heads on some stuff.”
