After news went viral that president Donald Trump referred to Haiti as a “S**hole country,” many people went on to defend the land, as well as clap back at Donnie for his  crass commentary. Even  CNN’s own Andersoon Cooper nearly cried while recounting his positive and empowering experiences with the people of Haiti, in response to the unfortunate remarks from Trump.

Now it appears that after enough backlash, Donald Trump is ready to come forward and defend reports of his rash word choice in reference to Haitians. Unfortunately, Donald added more fuel to the fire when his defense tweet included unnecessarily, poor stereotyping of Haitians:

“Never said anything derogatory about Haitians other than Haiti is, obviously, a very poor and troubled country. Never said “take them out.” Made up by Dems. I have a wonderful relationship with Haitians. Probably should record future meetings – unfortunately, no trust!”

Really though?

In Trump’s case, it appears he was better off being silent. As they say, silence is golden and duct tape is silver. Smh..
