After her Halloween on-stage collapse, Wendy Williams isn’t taking any chances when it comes to her health. The talk show host has cancelled several upcoming shows due to illness, updating fans on her status via Instagram.

A representative for the series told US Weekly, “Wendy is still experiencing flu-like symptoms and so she can rest up and get better, we have decided to cancel tapings the rest of the week,” with the woman herself taking to social media to address her temporary absence.

“It’s not the flu yet, but I feel flu-ish. It’s not a five on a scale of one to five, it’s not even a four.”

She went on to say taking off was actually difficult since she’s made it a habit to work through sickness the majority of her career.

“I feel awful, I had to be talked out of not going into work today, and taking off a few days to get myself together. I’m a thoroughbred, you know, I have not taken off since we started the show, and on radio, taking off was never my thing, she confesses.”

“I took the proper vacation time, but take off sick? What? No, never.”

Last October, the opinionated diva collapsed on-air.

After a commercial break, she returned to confirm it wasn’t a stunt, saying, “I overheated in my costume and I did pass out. But you know what? I’m a champ and I’m back.”
