Procter & Gamble’s "My Black is Beautiful (MBIB)" campaign continued it's message of young Black female empowerment through film with the premiere of the "Imagine a Future" documentary in association with Tribeca Film Institute.  On Sunday, April 21st at New York City's Crosby Hotel, MBIB, in partnership with UNCF and BLACK GIRLS ROCK!, hosted an intimate screening of the documentary for prominent film industry influencers and distinguished guests, including film participant and Academy Award nominee Gabourey Sidibe and Academy Award winner Jodie Foster as well as the film's award-winning production team, Executive Producer Beverly Bond of BLACK GIRLS ROCK!, Academy Award nominee the film's producer, Lisa Cortés, the film's director Shola Lynch, and the film's star, Janet Goldsboro.  The dynamic and inspiring film examines beauty and self-esteem issues that challenge Black women and girls and follows 17-year-old Janet on a self-discovery tour to South Africa.
