The fascinating hybrid of arrogance and mediocrity that lay within some men ceases to amaze us. So we’re feeling all kinds of gratitude towards South African model Lesego Legobane who was quick to check a misogynistic male on social media on Tuesday morning.

A conceited without reason Twitter user by the name of Leyton Mokgerepi posted a meme of Legobane alongside a thinner woman with the caption: “Girls that I like vs Girls that like me.” Legobane was used to represent the kind of woman Mokgerepi, who identifies as a “BoomBap Hip-Hop Fanatic,” presumes would be attracted him.

The plus-sized beauty promptly graced Mokgerepi with a dose of reality after being tagged in the sexist photo by another Twitter user.

With a brief fact-check in the form of “I don’t like you,” Legobane’s tweet went viral with over 234,000 retweets and more than 758,000 likes. As a result of Legobane’s quick clapback, the model attracted a flock of new admirers who admired the wig-snatch of a clapback.

Celebrities like Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and Ava DuVernay were also fans of Legobane’s response. The other model Mokgerepi used to leverage his misogyny even chimed in.

Homeboy even tried to backtrack after realizing the level of saltiness he attracted into his life.

But Legobane, whose Twitter handle is @ThickLeeyonce didn’t finish clapping back at the mediocre man before adding: “I can be fat and still be out of your league.”

Sis, if you didn’t let ’em know, who would?
