Summer Cocktail Roundup, Part 1

Cheers to the holiday weekend!

It's summertime, and the drinking is easy—and often. Check out some of our favorite new spirit recipies and pour it up, pour it up!

Sandy Bikini

  • 1.5 oz. Alizé COCO
  • 1 oz. Aged Rum
  • 1.5 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 1.5 oz. Orange Juice

Alizé COCO is such a perfect addition to your home bar. It’s sweet, strong and versatile. Shake, strain into snifter glass, top with crushed ice, garnish with nutmeg.

American Dream

  • 1.5 oz. Alizé COCO Pineapple
  • ¾ oz. Apricot Liqueur
  • ¾ oz. Cream
  • 1 oz. Pineapple Juice

Shake, strain into coupe glass, garnish with pineapple wedge.

Moscato Martini

  • 2 oz. SKYY Moscato Grape
  • 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

SKYY’s Infusions line is pretty much everything and the Moscato Grape variety is surprisingly great (even the moscato haters in our testing group agreed). This is a tasty twist on the traditional vodka martini and is oh-so-perfect for those who don’t want a super-sweet drink, but want something a little different.

The Firecracker

  • 3 oz. SKYY Vodka
  • 6 Fresh Cherries, pitted
  • ½  Fresh Lime, cut into 3 wedges
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • 1 Cup Crushed Ice

Muddle cherries, lime, and sugar.  Add the SKYY Vodka and cubed ice. Shake and strain over fresh crushed ice.  Garnish with lime and red cherries.

Big Blue

  • 1 ½ oz. SKYY Vodka

  • 2 oz. Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice

  • ½ oz. Triple Sec

  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup

  • ½ oz. Blue Curacao
  • ½ oz. Water
  • 4 Blackberries

Mix all ingredients together in a shaker and pour over crushed ice. Garnish with blackberries on a wooden or metal skewer

SMOKE Sunset Sip

  • 6 oz. SMOKE
  • 2oz. Sprite

SMOKE is a vodka-based liqueur blended with moscato (because we moscato lovers out number the moscato haters by MANY, okay?), pineapple and coconut and it is pretty darn great—plus the bottle looks like, well, smoke. Pour both in a Collins glass, garnish with lime wedges.
