Meet the Tyners.
From friends to lovers: "One day, he just looked different to me. He went from being my laughing buddy to, 'who is that?' It was weird. We just had a moment," explains Simone.
"The one thing I knew about Simone was that she would be the greatest mom ever. That was very important to me," says Colby.
"Marriage means commitment, communication and allowing yourself to be vulnerable," says Simone.
"We are always on the same wavelength. We are like a force moving forward. We aren't pulling each other in different directions," says Colby.
"Working together in the same industry made our relationship easier. We could talk about work and understand each other. If you're both interested in it, it doesn't feel like work," says Simone.
"We have an amazing kid! She has surpassed all the vision of what I thought we would have," says Colby, who credits his connection with Simone for "being able to bring this wonderful child into the world."
"We had an interesting dating period when nobody at the [radio] station knew. She was in management and I wasn't. When I ascended into management, we pulled the cat out of the bag," says Colby.
Pet peeves: "I'm a neat freak and he drives me nuts!" says Simone. "She is one of those people who will use something to the very last drop. I just buy a new one," says Colby.
