Former President Barack Obama came for Donald Trump Tuesday night when he cracked a joke at our current president’s expense during a speech at the first Obama Foundation Summit in Chicago.

Everyone knows that Trump and others don’t believe he is a U.S. citizen despite his birth certificate listing him as such and well …running the country.

Anyway, Mr. Obama wanted the world to know that he found the ridiculous claims to be quite humorous, to say the least.

“The reason I’m so excited to see you all here today in part is because this is where I started,” Obama said as he referenced Chicago where he worked as a community organizer in the 1980s. “Now, this isn’t where I was born, I was born in Kenya,” he said while laughing, then added: “It’s a joke.”

Obama, who was born in Hawaii in 1961, released both his “short-form” and “long-form” birth certificates to prove his citizenship. At the time of his birth, not one, but TWO Honolulu newspapers also printed the birth announcement.

After years of ridiculousness, Trump finally admitted what we always knew: that Obama was in fact a natural born United States citizen.

But he never apologized for spreading the false rhetoric and honestly, can we say we’re surprised?

SMH.
