Aries (March 21st to April 19th)
Reflect, gather information, and solicit advice now before you move on to tackle something bigger.
After last week’s trifecta of tension with Mars, Pluto and Uranus toward the end of the week, you will likely appreciate the mellow blended into this week. Fortunately, however, it’s not a boring kind of mellow where you feel you’re just cooling your heels. This Thursday, Mercury retrogrades his way back into the heart of the Sun to experience a renewal called an “interior” conjunction. Like Mercury, it’s a good time to go within in order to prepare to handle what you’ll find outside of you. Like a new moon, it’s a good time to set particular kinds of intentions, but ones related specifically to communication, travel or making connections. For instance, if you’ve been rehabilitating a stalled project, now is the time to gather more information on it or to reach out to experts for their advice and direction.

Taurus (April 20th to May 21st)
You’re heading upward, even if the evidence appears meager right now.
If you did the work to revise your vision of the game itself last week, then you’ll start to see results this week. They may not be big, but you can feel your life is brimming more with possibilities and openings. This Thursday, Mercury retrogrades his way back into the heart of the Sun to experience a renewal called cazimi. When cazimi happens, one medieval astrologer named Abu Ma’shar described it as “like a man who purifies himself and so lacks strength, but will regain health afterwards.” This week’s Mercury renewal happens in the sector of your chart that deals with your finances and resources. It’s a strong indication that you’re heading more toward an uptick than a downtick even if you’re only able to rub two pennies together. It’ll help to keep a positive attitude and appreciate that you have fortune on your side, even with only two cents

Gemini  (May 21st to June 20th)
After Thursday, find space for stilling your mind to find fresh insights and ideas.
Whatever has gone wrong, you can start turning this around now. Your planetary patron, Mercury, is about undergo a major transformation that we astrologers call an interior conjunction. It means that Mercury “disappears” into the bosom of the Sun. This is essentially a “new moon” or re-birth phase for Mercury. Of course, it may feel like you sort of have to “die” in order to be reborn or resurrected, but we’re talking symbolically here. (I mean, we have to be metaphorical if you’re literally still reading this, right?) When the interior conjunction happens on Thursday, it’s an excellent time to disappear into the bosom of your own mind and find stillness, even if it’s only for a few minutes. There are lots of good ideas and insights percolating beneath the surface, if you give space for them. So, you might keep up with this stillness as a practice over the weekend too.

Cancer  (June 21st to July 21st)
Don’t get distracted by “almost,” because you can and will go all the way. Stay steadfast.
It’s almost your birthday season, and a lot about this week will feel like someone has delivered a crate of “Almost” Kool-Aid to you. It’s likely that you may feel more nervous than excitement, but it could be hard to nail specifically what you’re nervous about. You might feel as if you can’t make the changes you want to make now, even though you’re almost there. Alternatively, nothing can arrive soon enough and your mind can’t stop thinking about all the ways that something or someone won’t arrive. This probably one of those moments when your storied intuition isn’t talking at all, and you’re listening to the incessant chattering of fear and doubt. With the Sun poised to go in your sign on Saturday and the moon arcing toward its renewal next week, you’re feeling the dark of the moon—the not knowing, the uncertainty, and doubt. However, it’s also an opportunity to reach for REAL faith. Keep your faith until the finish line, not until you’re almost there.

Leo  (July 22nd to August 21st)
Old friends or a group may come back into your life, but don’t make any big commitments with them just yet.
A friend or group of associates who’ve been out of your good graces lately could come back into the fold of your life. It may be a lead to reconciliation, but that might also prove beside the point. Don’t spend too long attempting to make something fit that’s not fitting or because the meeting has to mean something. It might, but not the meaning you have in mind. Some people come back in our lives as measuring sticks, not necessarily to stay. The key to deciding which is to speak from the heart and not get caught up in games or assumptions. Also, remember that it’s Mercury retrograde. This means that you don’t want to rush into serious commitments with people until you’ve thought everything through at least a few times. If someone’s come back in your life with fever and pressure, chances are things aren’t going to work out.

Virgo (August 22nd to September 21st)
Despite recent tribulations, you’re coming up stronger & clearer. Be patient.
On Thursday, Mercury retrogrades his way back into the heart of the Sun to experience a renewal called cazimi. When cazimi happens, one medieval astrologer named Abu Ma’shar described it as “like a man who purifies himself and so lacks strength, but will regain health afterwards.” You could take this literally to mean that you should “purify” yourself with a dietary or hygiene regimen, or you could look at it metaphorically. Your planetary patron’s rebirth could signify a time where you’ve gone through the purifying fires of some recent tribulations, but you’re about to come on the other side of them stronger and clearer. If you’re impatient, then you may attempt to force things to happen before you either have the strength or the support of others who can help you. When the Sun goes into Cancer on Saturday, you may have a better clue as to who’s able to help you move forward with a project or goal of yours.

Libra (September 22nd to October 21st)
Share the wisdom you’ve recently acquired about a thorny problem with colleagues or friends.
When Mercury glides back into the bosom of the Sun, he’ll experience his “new moon.” For you, it’ll represent the culmination of weeks of research, retracing and re-shaping to get a better grip on an issue or problem. We could say that you, like Mercury, could receive a crowning of wisdom. However, heavy is the head of he or she who wears the crown. It’s obvious that you have a responsibility to act on the knowledge that you’ve worked so hard to acquire; but it may be less obvious that you also have to share what you’ve learned. Teaching can be a great way to learn and cement what you know. It doesn’t mean that you have to think big and set up a class. However, perhaps you can take extra time to share with co-workers or a friend what you’ve learned over the last month. It could even bring more gleam to your crown of wisdom.

Scorpio (October 22nd to November 21st)
If you stay present, you could witness a beautiful moment when you transform adversity into advantage.
Although the difficulty you may meet with this week is not epic, it’ll be enough to show how you’re a wonder at converting adversity into advantage. Although it’s trite to say, “Turn the lemons you get into lemonade,” it’s no less true. The problem, dear Scorpio, is when you let your feels be drawn toward the shoulda, coulda, and woulda moments, or, worse, the remembrance of things past. Don’t be a knucklehead for nostalgia when there’s an opportunity right in front of you. You’ll have an easier time scouting out this transformational opportunity after Mercury “disappears” into the heart of the Sun on Thursday. Astrologers call this his interior conjunction and it’s the equivalent of Mercury’s “new moon” phase. After Thursday, however, act quickly, and stay focused on the good, not about what could go wrong.

Sagittarius (November 22nd to December 21st)
Don’t be thrown off by the static you could experience this week. You’ll find the right channel.
Mercury’s retrograde is a natural cycle of renewal for all things that help us get from point A to point B, whether that that takes us along a road, between cell towers, around the internet or through the express line of a grocery store. This week Mercury “disappears” into the heart of the Sun on Thursday. For you, this may be a powerful time to seed new intentions of connection you’d like to see happen with a partner or potential in your life. In general, it’s time to recalibrate and evaluate how you’re communicating to see if you’re saying what you mean and want to say. Don’t be alarmed by the metaphorical (or even literal) static you have in your communication with others, especially if the frequency of disruption picks up. You’ll eventually find the right channel.

Capricorn (December 22nd to January 20th)
What appears to make you softer is, in fact, making you stronger and tougher.
Everything takes its toll, though it may take some time to take effect. However, it’s the wear and tear of life that makes our muscles stronger and, in turn, us. You shouldn’t push yourself too hard this week, especially for the first half of it. It may take time to assess how much “damage” you’ve experienced from your recent rushes to the top of whatever mountain you’ve been climbing. The worst thing to do now is to worry about the shift in energy you’re experiencing. You might think you’re getting softer instead of harder, losing ground rather than gaining ground; but sometimes softness is the way to toughness and forward motion. This could be true with your emotions, your body, or your work regimen. When summer starts by the Sun dipping into Cancer, your opposite sign, on Saturday, you will likely have a handle on how you’re going to climb higher.
Aquarius (January 21st to February 18th)
Following your curiosity could give life to exciting new insights and thoughts.

They say curiosity killed the cat. However, since we don’t have the name of the cat and most cats have nine lives on top of that, I think that’s bull. Curiosity is going to be your gateway drug to bigger and better things this week. However, the problem with gateways like that is that you don’t always know the direction that things are going to take. So, please, don’t spend too much time attempting to figure it out. Although this may prompt a few late nights exploring things on foot or by touchpad, you’ll eventually come up with some new insights and thoughts, though collectively they may look like a jumble of randomness and distraction. Einstein might have said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge,” however, curiosity fuels our imaginations and hopes. Make time for it.

Pisces (February 19th to March 20th)
Being reflective and around water may prove rejuvenating for you.
From Tuesday to Thursday, the moon takes a dive in your sign and then the Sun eases into moist Cancer, so it’s a water-sign week. When water’s activated, it triggers whatever promotes reflection, whether that’s mental contemplation or reflecting back emotions. (It can also mean that you’re also pulled more toward actual water, such as the ocean, beach, tub, or pool.) You’re mostly at home in contemplative and emotional realms, but it might be difficult if you have deal with humdrum work or people. Be sure to reserve some time alone toward the weekend, perhaps catching up with a relaxing hobby or soothing pleasures with your boo. All of this will not only help you feel emotionally supple, but could prove rejuvenating for what looks like a creative and active period in the month ahead.
