Libra (September 22nd to October 21st)

#MeTime: The last six months or so have probably been pretty challenging. When the New Year started you might have thought that you were on the brink of making some breakthroughs in many areas of your life that had seemed stalled or stymied for months or even years. Then it seemed like a lot slipped backward. Fortunately, this summer you’re about to go forward, but a lot still depends on whether you’ve absorbed the review that the Cosmos gave you. Let me state it plain: are you as willing to factor your intentions, ideas and philosophies in the mix for change, whether personal, social or global, as much as you are willing to do for others?  This is a lesson sponsored by two planets, Saturn and Uranus, who are essentially opposites—the tightrope between breaking the rules to express your individual self (Uranus) and abiding by the rules to consider the collective or society (Saturn). If anyone can walk that tightrope gracefully, Libra, it’s you. So get ready to walk!

#Heartstrings: Your planetary patron, Venus, is going through big changes this week. She’s now shed everything to start a cycle of rebirth over the next couple of months, so that symbolizes a similar experience that will likely happen in your life, particularly with your relationships.  This time, though, it starts with your thinking and not so much your heart. I know that sounds strange as we think relationships are more about the heart, but in this case, you’re being challenged by the Cosmos to re-align your thinking about how you feel someone is actually like you.  It’s true that opposites attract, but the real reason why opposites attract is because they can find a commonality that’s meaningful for both parties.  It’s time to pay closer attention how much you have in common rather than how much you want to have in common or whether somebody’s differences feeds more your insecurities about what you perceive that you don’t have or can’t get. Let that go.

#MoneyMoves: With all this celestial activity like the Venus transit, the solar and lunar eclipse and the Mars-Venus tango in the sky now, it’s a good time to check out the plethora of books about money like Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich or T. Harv Eker’s Secret of the Millionaire Mind.  There’s especially one key strain of thought in these kind of books that becomes most important for you to realize now: it’s having the courage to value what you to share it with others at a value people are willing to sustain. This can be as an entrepreneur or as an employee, but it starts with coolly and clearly assessing and understanding the value of what you bring to the table.  Once you figure that out, it’s a matter of setting in motion a plan to share your value that works for you. It’s okay to start small.
