ZODIAC LOUNGE: LIBRA THIS WEEK 8/6-8/12

September 22 - October 21

Libra [September 22nd to October 21st]

#MeTime: You’re perhaps the ultimate rational sign of the Zodiac. I’m certain of this because the word “rational” has the word “ratio” in it and that can involve scales.  And there’s nobody in the whole zodiac who has a scale, an inanimate object, as its symbol. It doesn’t mean you’re cold or unfeeling, but it does mean that you process your feelings through your mind rather than just trusting your feelings or your gut.  You have to weigh them out, so to speak. As Venus gets into her groove in touchy-feely Cancer this week, you might have some of your “weighted” ratios thrown off.  She’s going to press you to feel more and to think later. You may resist that impulse, but ask yourself, “What am I being considerate about that prevents me from just acting on my gut?”  Then pay attention to whether you really have to be considerate about that thing (or person.)

#Heartstrings: The week opens up with a lot of focus on Aries, your partnership sign. The Moon starts off there, but gets caught up with a web between Mars, Pluto and Uranus. Translation:  you might feel like either you or somebody else woke up on the wrong side of the bed and it ends up with you not wanting to be bothered.  Thankfully, Mercury finds his groove again after being retrograde for the last three weeks. This should get you able to pick up more comfortable conversations and companionship toward the weekend.

#MoneyMoves:  As Venus moves into Cancer and ascends to the head of your Libra portion of the night sky, I feel like it symbolizes you on the rise. This might feel both uncomfortable and something you’ve been waiting for, nonetheless.  You might feel more pressure is on to perform and you’re not ready to meet people’s expectations or even your own.  You can only be committed to doing your best, though.  You are not responsible for other people’s expectations and you could come to exceed your own. But nothing happens without a full commitment to just “do the damn thang,” no matter what it is.
