Aries (March 21st to April 19th)
This week, Aries, you might get nit-picky with people about things or details and those around you might not understand why. That’s when you have to remember to stick to the main issue at hand, improvise when the mission goes off the rails and don’t sweat the small stuff too much this week. Please.

Taurus (April 20th to May 21st)
This week, you may have a partner or colleague who suddenly wants to get creative when all you may need from him or her is to perform the detail-oriented work that’s required. But doing what’s required does not mean that one can’t also do MORE than what’s required. Don’t squelch creativity, imagination or innovation for fear of losing details or to be pedantic. Stick to those priorities, but allow variation. You may find more people happy around you.

Gemini  (May 21st to June 20th)
We’re in the shadow of Mercury retrograde. For some, that seems like a foreboding headline: “Huge dark cloud set to cover city for weeks!” But it’s not that. Think of it more like Idris Elba’s 5 o’clock shadow; It has its own sexiness. And Mercury’s retrograde, like the Venus retrograde that ends next week, is a rebirth.

Often along with rebirth, something dies. That doesn’t mean we’ll be returning to the morbidity that plagued your horoscopes last month, but it does mean that it’s time to look closer at what isn’t thriving, not just the “dead” or dying. This could manifest in your life as a project needing review or a spirit-lift for the wax and wane of your moods.

Cancer (June 21st to July 21st)
There’s a popular notion that brilliance in analysis is all about rationality—something usually associated with air or earth signs. As a water sign, you will dispel this notion when your emotions, passions and intuition compel you to look closer at the details and draw the right conclusions.

Leo  (July 22nd to August 21st)
This week, words may get in the way. Especially while we’re in the shadow of Mercury retrograde, you shouldn’t rely too much on texts or email to communicate.  Instead, be a person of action; you may surprise yourself or someone close to you.

Virgo (August 22nd to September 21st)
This week, your instinct for efficiency may be waning. That’s when you have to push yourself to get back on target and take yourself to the next level or back to your former levels.  But deciding on how to elevate can be tough, so, it’s best to go back to nature for guidance. (Hey anything that’s been able to stick around for a couple of billion years has definitely learned a few things about efficiency that we haven’t.) Take a walk and observe how nature, whether it’s clouds, sand or birds, keeps its efficiency. This may inspire you to find a way to stay on task in, at least, one way that’s meant just for you. It also wouldn’t hurt to have a little more fresh air in your life.

Libra (September 22nd to October 21st)
This week, it’s time to be creative with your money. Consider your potential for expansion. This ain’t daydreaming, though, like how you would spend your billion dollar Powerball earnings on a jet.  Instead, use your imagination constructively, working in-between possibility and probability.

Scorpio (October 22nd to November 21st)
This week, pay special attention to what you’re resisting, the things you don’t want to do but feel drawn to do. This is most likely where you can find new, good energy. But be aware: you’re likely to get into tiffs or even full-out arguments with folks who want you to see things their way rather than giving you space to see things as they appear.

Sagittarius (November 22nd to December 21st)
This week, you may be asked to take a step back or sit down for a moment. You actually don’t know why you’ve been told to sit down, but it’s best to sit down and allow the reason to surface rather than trying to worry about it. If you don’t, you could fall into a depression. Instead, take a moment to catch your breath and look at the big picture.

Capricorn (December 22nd to January 20th)
Astrologers talk so much about you goats climbing mountaintops that we hardly spend enough time talking about what sometimes happens when you get there. Considering it’s the first full week after your season has officially ended, you’re at a mountaintop this week. So now you’re better able to survey the full scope of your year ahead. You also have a lot to emotionally process after the full moon for your season last week. “Has the journey so far been fulfilling?” you might ask yourself. In many ways I’m sure it has, but there may be some lingering feeling of wanting more. That’s a good thing. A hunger doesn’t have to lead to starvation or greed. Your raised competence could be helping you prepare to take on more.

Aquarius (January 21st to February 18th)
Water-bearer, I’ve always imagined that if actual signs could write biographies, rather than individuals, yours would have the running joke of how much muck you have to go through to bring the world “water.” Of course, water here is symbolic of truth, intelligence, consciousness, assistance or whatever uplifts the human condition. But it’s not like there’s some ethereal or inner world tributary that only Aquarians have access to.

I think it’s better to say that Aquarians just have more stamina and determination to wade through the muck and BS to get to that sweet “water.” You may be keenly aware of this fact this week as you wade through some of the muck of stupidity, selfishness, short-sightedness and overall incompetence of some folks in your life. That’s when you’ll have to make sure the first sip of “water” is for yourself.

Pisces (February 19th to March 20th)
This week may not be the best for a presentation or something that requires you to rely on eloquence, whether you have it normally or not. In fact, you may feel at times as if you’ve been reduced to being some sea-drifting Morse code operator who can’t quite catch your flow, because you constantly speak and write in staccato.

Let this be all right; sometimes you just have to take it all in and have patience with yourself to get your thoughts out. When you’re ready, let your words marinate to allow time for translation and processing.
