Chris Bridges a.k.a. Ludacris just gave his mother the ultimate pre-Mother’s Day gift. The “Roll Up” rapper recently announced that he has remodeled his mother Roberta’s home to make it more her style.

Luda debuted the newly-renovated construction on an episode of My Houzz.

“My mom and my relationship is very close,” he said, according to PEOPLE. “She’s one of the people who first introduced me to hard work and dedication. That’s why I am where I am, and who I am, today.”

The 39-year-old rapper said his mom had started doing a little decorating herself, but many of the rooms remained partially done.

“When she moved into it, she was wanting to make it her own,” he said. “But a lot of the rooms my mother has started on are just incomplete.”

To assist his favorite girl with the transition, Bridges brought in Designer, Rachel Oliver, who immediately went to work on the living room, dining room, office and kitchen.

“It makes me feel that I’m blessed beyond belief,” an emotional Roberta said after seeing her new home. “Thank you for loving me.”

Awww …

As for Luda, he thinks it was the least he could do.

“I feel like every child wants to do everything they can possibly do for their mom to give back an ounce of what their mother has given them,” he says. “This is one step closer.”
