Al Sharpton has reportedly found love.

The 62-year-old civil rights activist and MSNBC commentator is dating Aisha McShaw, a Westchester, N.Y., “personal stylist” who is 20 years his junior, the New York Daily News reports.

Apparently, the two have been seen together at several recent black-tie affairs, including the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April. And on Monday, they were seen arriving together at the New York County Democratic Committee Award Ceremony.

“I’m his girlfriend,” McShaw, 35, said when asked by the news outlet to define her relationship with Sharpton. He, on the other hand, refused to elaborate on their dealings and avoided the question of how long the two had been an item.

Sharpton separated from his wife, Kathy, in 2004 after 24 years of marriage. His relationship with McShaw seems to be the most serious one since his split. At the time, a publicist speaking on behalf of Sharpton said the two had simply grown apart.

Though Sharpton was pretty tight-lipped about his love life, he was happy to discuss with reporters New York City’s political races.

Eliot Spitzer and Scott Stringer are rivaling for the city controller position. Sharpton said both Democrats had reached out to him recently.

“I have not made an endorsement there … both of them have called me and I told both of them that I was in the middle of the Trayvon Martin thing,” he said.
