Harvey Weinstein Now Facing Sex-Trafficking Charges

Famed movie producer Harvey Weinstein’s scandal just keeps getting more intense.

According to Vulture, not only is he being investigated for sexual assault, but he may now allegedly be facing sex-trafficking charges.

Women and actresses from all over the world have accused the entertainment mogul of sexually assaulting him. He is being investigated by the NYPD, the LAPD, the Beverly Hills police, and law enforcement in the UK. The women say that Weinstein raped, harassed and executed other forms of misconduct.

A complaint filed for actress Kadian Noble alleges that “Harvey Weinstein was able to force or coerce Kadian into sexual activity in his hotel room because of his promise to her of a film role and use of his influence on her behalf.”

The claim asserts that Weinstein “traveled in foreign commerce, knowingly recruiting or enticing Kadian offering her something of value, knowing that he would use this offer as a means to defraud, force, or coerce her into a sexual encounter.”

The complaint also names Bob Weinstein for his alleged role in setting up “commercial sex acts in foreign commerce” for his brother.

Actress Dominique Hewitt has filed a $5 million civil suit against The Weinstein Co. for Weinstein’s alleged misconduct. Hewitt claims the company was well aware of what he was doing with multiple women.
