Love, Politics and an HIV Test

HIV is a silent killer. That’s why it’s so important to get tested.

The rest of the evening was full of more music, more drinks.  I didn’t win anything in the raffle.

That night I learned I was HIV negative, and my heart relaxed, but the experience taught me a lot. Of those tested that night, I can only hope each result mimicked my own.  If the goal of the event was to raise awareness, mission accomplished. They raised my awareness.
