How would you deal with infidelity?

While things tend to happen, no one wants to be the victim of infidelity. Being cheated on can do some serious mental, physical and emotional harm to a person, not to mention the fact that it violates trust in your mate in a variety of ways.

Here are three signs that your mate might be getting a little action on the side.

1) He doesn’t allow you to have access to his phone or laptop.

Granted, relationships should come with a level of trust and respect for your mate to the point where you shouldn’t have to feel the need to check their phone, Facebook messages or Instagram DMs. But if your mate is constantly leaving the room to text or take a phone call, then something might be up. Understand that while no one likes someone looking over their shoulder, they certainly will not act like they’re part of the secret ops every time their phone buzzes.

2) She gets caught up in so many lies, especially about where she is and who she’s with.

You’re only as good as your word because it is bond. If your mate is constantly lying about where she is when she is not with you then something is definitely up. You shouldn’t have to call her BFF to see where she is at, especially if she said they were going shopping together. That happened to me one time. A friend (at the time) didn’t warn me that she lied to her boyfriend by telling him she was with me and guess what? I was caught completely off guard when he showed up on my doorstep looking for her. She was on a date. How foul.

3) Your intuition tells you he is being unfaithful.

There is a huge difference between being fearful, accusatory and paranoid and intuitive. The latter is always right. When you’ve actively worked to establish a relationship with your intuition, you know and understand when it is speaking to you. You know the difference between your man genuinely working late versus him being on BS. You know the difference between him taking a private work or business call and another woman whispering sweet nothings in his ear. There’s no real explanation for intuition. You just KNOW. Pay attention to your instincts. They will never lead you astray.

Cheating is never OK. It causes pain, hurt and activates insecurities that may be super tough for people to shake. Hopefully these tips save you from experiencing everlasting deceit.
