Each year, an overwhelming number of African American students drop out of college due to financial hardship. This year, radio personality Tom Joyner and insurance industry giant Allstate have partnered to raise scholarship funds that will help financially assist students attending HBCU’s.

In an effort to help keep those students in school, Allstate’s “Quotes for Education” program will donate $10 from each insurance quote received from August until December 2012.

The Quotes for Education program, which began in 2009, hopes to raise up to $150,000 for scholarships the year.

Here’s how you can help: receive an insurance quote from Allstate between August and December, mention the “Quotes for Education” program, and Allstate will donate $10 to the Tom Joyner Foundation scholarship fund.

To get involved, you can visit allstate.com/represent to locate the nearest participating agent or request an online quote. You can also call 855-REP-HBCU at any time to receive a quote from an Allstate representative.
