Bill O'Reilly sat down with Sybrina Fulton — the mother of Trayvon Martin — and the family's attorney, Benjamin Crump, for an episode of "The O'Reilly Factor." Right off the bat, the controversial talk show host reiterated his message to "let the system work," while berating Al Sharpton and others who had been advocating for George Zimmerman's arrest. The most interesting question during the segment came when O'Reilly asked Fulton whether the civil rights activist should apologize for amplifying the racial tensions within the case. Fulton, who has been blessed with a calm soul, said that Sharpton "also promotes peace," and added that they are "not supporting any violence."

The usually hot tempered and argumentative host couldn't negate that, saying that the Martin family has been "magnificent," but then again pressed that others "have basically whipped up emotion." While the FOX News talk show host has been mild with his assessment in comparison to others, the interview didn't really touch upon most of the questions the nation has had since the shooting occurred on Feb. 26. Crump said that O'Reilly and Sharpton should discuss whatever issues they had between themselves, quickly adding that without the rallying and outcry from such individuals, George Zimmerman would not have been arrested.
