The son of U.S. Congressman Danny Davis was found dead Thursday night, a spokeswoman for the Chicago representative confirmed to WLS-TV.

Stacey Wilson, 44, was discovered in his home. The spokeswoman said no foul play is suspected in his death. Wilson was diabetic and had recently been in a hospital for treatment. No official cause of death has been announced.

This is the second tragedy for the lawmaker’s family in recent months. In November, Wilson’s 15-year-old son, who is Davis’ grandson, Javon was shot and killed while trying to break up a fight. Investigators said it was a dispute over sneakers. Two teenagers were charged with first-degree murder in that shooting.

Last week, Rep. Davis joined Sen. Dick Durbin to introduce the Trauma Informed Care for Children and Families Act, a bill focused on addressing the needs of children in Chicago that have been traumatized by violence.
