Rodney King was concluded to be under the influence of cocaine, marijuana, and alcohol at the time of death, according to a report released Thursday. The cause of death is listed as an accidental drowning, but the drug usage and alcohol consumption were contributing factors. The San Bernardino County coroner's report states that King was in a state of "drug- and alcohol-induced delirium at the time" and "either fell or jumped into the swimming pool."

The drugs, combined with a noted heart condition, led to a cardiac arrhythmia, and King was "thus incapacitated, was unable to save himself and drowned," according to the report. King's blood-alcohol level was 0.06. "There is nothing in the history or autopsy examination to suggest suicide or homicide," the report states. King, the victim of a vicious beat down at the hands of the LAPD, died in June after he was found by his fiancee, Cynthia Kelley, at the bottom of the backyard pool at his Rialto home.
