A Kansas City woman is recovering after she got the tip of her ring finger bitten off at a Missouri strip club, BuzzFeed News reports.
Karen Osuji, 25, was at a strip club called Baccala on Friday night where she observed a fight between two women on stage, she told BuzzFeed.
Osuji said security attempted to break the women up, but the fighting persisted near the dressing room of the alleged finger biter, who Osuji calls “Diamond.”
She told BuzzFeed that she was waiting in line for the bathroom when the fighting got more intense and that she was caught in the middle when her finger got entangled.
She was taken to the fire department across the street from Baccala to get emergency medical attention, but they could not help her, the report says.
A friend of Osuji’s went back to the strip club and found the missing finger and placed it in ice and rushed to a hospital in downtown Kansas City.
“During all this time I was super calm… I wasn’t crying,” she told BuzzFeed “I don’t know if I was in shock or what, but I was chillin’.”
She had surgery the next day, but doctors were not able to reattach the tip of her finger.
“They couldn’t put it back so I had to accept it. It was all good spirits in the ER,” she told BuzzFeed News.
Diamond had apparently fled the scene, but Osuji said she plans to press charges.
“What’s sobbing going to do? B*itch, it’s gone,” she said
