UCLA team members, LiAngelo Ball, Jalen Hill and Cody Riley could be sentenced to 20 days of house arrest and permanent banishment from China as punishment for stealing from a Louis Vuitton store in Hangzhou.

According to the Bleacher Report, the players were released on bail Wednesday night and might serve the punishment at the Hyatt Regency Hangzhou, where the UCLA Bruins and their opponents, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, are residing for their stay in the country.

“We are aware of a situation involving UCLA student-athletes in Hangzhou, China,” UCLA said in a statement. “The University is cooperating fully with local authorities on this matter, and we have no further comment at this time.”

Currently, the players are not confined to the hotel. While the three UCLA team members in question won’t suit up for Saturday’s game against the Yellow Jackets in Shanghai, UCLA head coach Steve Alford. He did not add additional details about their status were provided.

“The university came out with a statement, so I won’t have any further comment on this other than in answering that question—those individuals won’t play on Saturday,” he said.
