A Michigan university has called dibs on young advocate Amariyanna “Mari” Copeny better known as “Little Miss Flint.”

Michigan Live reported the 10-year-old has been awarded a four-year, $25,000 scholarship to Central Michigan University. Copeny received her moniker after writing a letter to Barack Obama during the Flint water crisis in 2016. She gained further notoriety after being visibly disgusted upon meeting President Donald Trump.

She also advocated about the importance of clean water at the March of Science in lieu of her hometown’s crisis.

CMU president George E. Ross has been taking note of all Copeny’s dedication.

“I am proud that you are a member of our CMU family and represent us in such an impressive manner,” Ross, a Flint native said according to Michigan Live. “Mari, your achievements serve as a leadership example to our entire university, this state, the nation and beyond. Thank you for putting your stamp on the world.”
