An Air Force sergeant has been temporarily removed from her position after posting a video of her ranting about her Black female subordinates.

Nellis Air Force technical sergeant Geraldine Lovely shared an offensive video, while in military uniform, of her complaining about the “disrespect” she receives from the Black females who report to her. She posted the video to the Facebook page Air Force Forum.

The post, which appears to have been posted on Sunday, was deleted by the sergeant after she began receiving comments accusing her of racism. But the minute and a half video has received over 1.2 million views. The poorly articulated rant begins with Lovely saying her lower-ranking colleagues are frustrating her:

“…but they’re Black females. And it pisses me the f**k off that they have no f**king respect and constantly having an attitude and what the f**k is up with that. I am trying my best to hold my professionalism with them but good god, they have no f**king respect whatsoever every time I talk to them it’s like ‘no ma’am.’ They’re talking down to me and I’m trying to tread lightly as a higher-ranking SEO not to blow the f**k up and start a fight club. But why is that why is it every time I encounter my subordinates that are Black females, they have a giant f**king attitude? Every time, I talk to them its like I’m just some stupid a** girl , what is that called, like I don’t even deserved to be talked to as a person.”

Air Force officials are investigating the incident.

“While the actions of this individual are inappropriate and unacceptable, we are using this unfortunate situation to continue a dialogue with our Airmen about the topic of good order and discipline, as well as adherence to the Air Force Core Values,” authorities said in a statement according to the Las Vegas Sun.
