President Barack Obama and presidential candidate Mitt Romney were both able to take a few comical jabs at one another before their upcoming third and final debate. At the 67th annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, formally dressed Obama and Romney made a series of self-deprecating jokes, as well as a few light-hearted digs at Vice President Joe Biden and Clint Eastwood

"Please take your seats," Obama told the crowd, "or else Clint Eastwood will yell at them." POTUS also made note of Romney's wealthy background. "Earlier I went shopping at some stores in Midtown. I understand Governor Romney went shopping for some stores in Midtown," Obama told the attendees at the high-profile charity dinner.  "Spoiler alert: We got bin Laden!" he later added, when speaking about the foreign-policy focus of the final debate.

Romney, on the other hand, pointed out the vulnerable spots in Obama's presidency, including the jobless rates. "You're better off now than you were four weeks ago," Romney said about the rates' recent decline. The former Massachusetts Governor also added that whenever Biden's outspoken remarks appear on television, they might as well end with "I'm Mitt Romney, and I approve this message."

The introductory remarks made by Al Smith IV set the humorous mood with a reference to Romney's "binder of women" gaff. "I want to say a special welcome to all of the accomplished women here tonight. It's good to see you made it out of those binders," Smith said to laughter.
