Comedian and “Family Feud” host Steve Harvey met with President-elect Donald Trump at his palatial Trump Tower in New York to discuss matters concerning his upcoming presidency.

When asked about the nature and purpose of the meeting, Harvey told reporters that he spoke with Trump’s pick for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Ben Carson, whose confirmation hearings took place earlier this week. Each person — none of whom have public policy experience, or ever run a governmental agency — discussed how problems in the inner cities could be handled.

If Harvey had any criticisms for Trump he apparently withheld them and instead had nothing but praise for him. “I walked away feeling like I had just talked with a man who genuinely wants to make a difference in this area,” Harvey tweeted on Friday. “I feel that something really great could come out of this.”

Despite a lack of experience in public policy, Harvey does run a non-profit committed to helping young people through mentoring and other means. But it is unclear, what plans he discussed with Carson on helping out with HUD.
