does not mean it's forever with them. In a couple of months they'll be back together.”

Mind you, Ronald Fenty reportedly abused Rihanna’s mother in the past as he struggled with substance abuse. Now he sells stories to tabloids about how much he loves his daughter’s ex-boyfriend who abused her. Hello, issues. [Now]

However, there’s another Rihanna ex out here showing us there’s always a better way. Super handsome and wonderfully wealthy LA Dodger Matt Kemp is donated lots of money to those afflicted by the terrible tornados that struck several areas in Oklahoma.

A son of the state himself, Matt wrote in a statement: "Dear Families of OKC: On Monday, out of concern and emotion I committed $1,000.00 for every home run I hit until the All-Star Break. It was a quick and small gesture in advance of what I knew would be my greater contribution through your rebuilding process. I am keeping my pledge and in addition, donating $250,000.00. May God bless you through this and the many generous donations coming to your aid. - Matt Kemp #PrayforOklahoma" [CBS Sports]

In case you were confused, Kenya Moore never dated Jay-Z. In response to a question about whether she had a past with the rapper, Kenya tweeted in response: “Sorry... but NO I never dated Jay-Z. Only worked on the video. He and @jermainedupri were true gentlemen. #dumbRumors #twirlonthat[Kenya Moore]

I don’t know what’s going on with the bank account of my beloved Mary J. Blige, but someone needs a new accountant. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul owes $3,426,255.43 in back federal income taxes for the years 2009, 2010, and 2011. She also owes the state of New Jersey 901,769.65 in back taxes. And there’s that lawsuit against her for alleged defaulting on a $2.2 million bank loan. Not to mention, her charity was sued for taking out a $250,000 loan and now paying it back. God save the Queen, I don’t want her to be Lauryn Hill’s bunk buddy in prison. [Crunk + Disorderly]

Montell Jordan is no longer doing something exclusively for the honeys. The 90s R&B singer is now a worship pastor in Atlanta where celebrity pastors reign supreme. Word to Peebles. Anyhow, the 44-year-old singer turned megachurch pastor said that after a 21-day fast in 2010, “The Lord spoke to me and said 'you got to retire, you got to lay that life down.'" The start of his transition from the music industry to the ministry was diaper changing in the children’s ministry. Ultimately, he given a license to marry, baptize, and christen. Additionally, he’s working “a live concert of all new material with a newly formed collective of church musicians, called Victory World Music.” Good luck and God bless, though admittedly I’m going to always love him as the man who gave us "Let’s Ride.” [LA Weekly]

J. Cole is never scared when it comes to dropping an album on the same day as Kim Kardashian’s boo thang. The North Carolina raised rapper says he’s moving up the release date of his sophomore album, Born Sinner, to compete directly with Kanye West’s forthcoming album, Yeezus. J. Cole said he got the idea all of a sudden and immediately worked to make sure that date bump could happen.

On that, he explains: “I’m not going to sit [here]… I worked too hard to come a week later after Kanye West drops an amazing album. It’d be like, ‘Oh and J. Cole dropped too, a week later.’ Nah. I’m going to go see him on that date. He’s the greatest. So it’s like, I’m a competitor by nature so it was instant, it wasn’t even a thought.”

Not to mention, while folks are out in stores or hitting the Web to buy Kanye’s album, might as well have yours right next to his on sale and get that curiosity purchase. [Rap-Up]
