President Donald Trump seems to have quite the penchant for belittling Black immigrants with racist tropes and spite as of late.
Haitians and Africans were the target of his frighteningly narrow mind yet again during a Thursday meeting in the Oval Office. In response to a request for the president to reconsider the July 2018 revocation of temporary protected statuses for Haitian immigrants, Trump used his impressive vocabulary to denounce the idea.
“Haiti? Why do we want people from Haiti here? Then they got Africa. Why do we want these people from all these shithole countries here?” he reportedly said according to a source from NBC News. “We should have more people from places like Norway.”

In addition to displacing tens of thousands of Haitian immigrants in the summer, the president also accused all Haiti natives of having AIDS.
