While recently campaigning in Danville, Virginia, Vice President Joe Biden told an audience of supporters that Republicans aim to put "y'all back in chains." Adopting a southern drawl, Biden attempted to convince supporters of President Barack Obama's reelection effort that troubled times are the least of Americans worries if Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan win. "Look at their budget, and what they are proposing," Biden said. "Romney wants to let—he said in the first hundred days, he's going to let the big banks once again write their own rules. Unchain Wall Street."

After a brief pause, Biden concluded his statement by saying, "They going to put y'all back in chains." The Romney campaign quickly took the airwaves to call Biden's statement "unacceptable," yet the Obama campaign isn't budging, telling MSNBC that they're fine with Biden's comments.
