Harlem’s Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture recently held its second “Stage for Debate” event. This time, the Center’s director, scholar and author Dr. Khalil Gibran Muhammad (The Condemnation of Blackness) took on cultural critic Touré. The gentlemen debated race, culture and the central themes in Touré’s recent book Who’s Afraid of Post-Blackness? Columbia University professor Dorian Warren served as moderator for the evening.

Check out part one of our highlights and stay tuned for part two later this week!
