Disney star Zendaya hit the Oscars red carpet on Sunday night with long dreadlocks flowing down her back. Vogue heralded her as a "breakout style star" of the night, calling her "one part Lisa Bonet, one part Venus de Milo, and all very grown up." On Monday, in dishing about all the red carpet looks on E!'s Fashion Police, Giuliana Rancic cracked that Zendaya probably "smells like patchouli oil … or weed." The comment clearly wasn't targeting Zendaya's white Vivienne Westwood gown.

And an angry Zendaya took to Twitter to say there is a "fine line between what is funny and what is disrespectful." In a lengthy post, she says she finds the comment "outrageously offensive." And says, "My wearing my hair in locs on an Oscar red carpet was to showcase them in a positive light, to remind people of color that our hair is good enough."
