Woodson Mordecai Johnson, the first Black president of Howard University and Eleanor Roosevelt Tupac Shakur and Jada Pinkett Smith Members of the first class of Black pilots in the history of the US Army Air Corps who were graduated at the Advanced Flying School as Second Lieutenants by Major General George E. Stratemeyer. March 1942 The body of 14-year-old Carol Robertson, one of four girls killed in the bombing of 16th Street Baptist Church, Birmingham, Alabama.
