Since being appointed CEO of TaskRabbit, Brown-Philpot is on a mission to change how we check off our to-do lists, enlisting Taskers-who earn $35 an hour on average-to take up the slack on users' needed chores. Though IKEA acquired the platform in September, it says TaskRabbit will continue to operate independently and will continue to expand the platform's presence.
