With the holiday season upon us, fashionistas with a flare for vintage and classic garments have a chance to own items from the historic couture and clothing collections of Eunice W. Johnson and her EBONY Fashion Fair show. In conjunction with Leslie Hindman Auctioneers (1338 W. Lake Street, Chicago), approximately 1,500 select items will be sold in a tag sale from Wednesday, November 28 through Monday, December 3.
Specialty garments on sale range from designer furs to accessories will include a Balestra multicolor sequin and two tone taffeta evening gown; a Reem Acra navy blue silk and gold sequin evening gown; a Luca Luca metallic sequin and fur cocktail dress; a Dominique Sirop turkey feather coat among other designer and exclusive garments. The sale will also include menswear selections.
For more than 50 years, Mrs. Johnson handpicked coveted designer garments from the global fashion stage and brought fashionalive across the country through the EBONY Fashion Fair show and inspired women from all walks of life to celebrate their style. Through the Tag Sale, fans of fashion will have the opportunity to own a piece of the historic collection curated by Mrs. Johnson, in keeping with her vision that high style belonged in the lives of all women.
