Prabal Gurung for Target Preview — This very hush hush preview provided all the lovely whimsy expected from design dynamo Prabal Gurung (think bright paintbrush stroke prints and floral touches). I had the chance to catch up with the super sexy Sharam Diniz, Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn and Jasmine Tookes about how they prepped for the show. Supra Footwear Hosts “West Coast Hip-Hop History Pictures” Exhibit by Mike Miller — Former LA-based skater turned hip-hop photographer Mike Miller hosted a collection of his works at the sneaker Mecca Supra last week. The in-store event spoke to defining moments of ’90s west coast rap, including his numerous portraits of the likes of Eazy-E, Tupac and Snoop Dogg. — EG
