I think it’s safe to say we’re still on a TLC high after the release of their biopic this week. Our hats go off to Keke Palmer, Lil Mama and Drew Sidora for their stellar performances portraying of the greatest girl groups of all time. Chilli, T-Boz and the late Left Eye were well known for their unique, trendsetting sense of style, while still showing individuality in a uniform way.
Chilli’s most known for her sexy approach to fashion, always showing off her killer abs and long gorgeous hair. T-Boz is famous for her variety of short hairstyles, frequently switching out the lengths and colors. Left Eye, who (of course) was the wild card, made condoms and black football tape trendy and cool. These ladies as a whole raised the bar and set a high standard for women to speak out, be themselves and own their individuality.
