It’s kind of a funny story… one morning, I was grabbing a bagel and headed to work in Times Square and I was interrupted by a female officer who reached out and grabbed my arm demanding forcibly [and asking], “kid where are you going!” Long story short the woman thought I was a truant youth and was planning to bus me to the nearest middle school. I was 25 at the time and absolutely mortified!
Beauty Secrets Revealed: I don’t sweat the small stuff.
Must-have beauty products: Cocoa Butter; Witch Hazel and Vitamin E.
Style Staple: Sometimes I’m super colorful and sometimes I’m all black everything. But I always try to do something cool with my traditional Muslim head-covering.
