Last night, Vanity Fair invited A-list celebrities to New York City’s State Supreme Courthouse to kick off the Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), which begins today, April 18. Jessica White, Rachel Roy, Michael Kenneth Williams and Grace Hightower all celebrated in style.

Leona Lewis dressed up in a fine evening gown for the Arielle Couture Fashion Show in London while British singer, Dionne Bromfield and model, BB Kaye dressed a bit more casually for the occasion.

Solange’s curls were spotted twice in NYC yesterday—both times equally chic of course. Her day look gave us cool and trendy while her night look was elegant and comfortable. Big sis’, Beyonce made a dash from the cameras with baby Blue Ivy both covered in colorful prints.

While Vanity Fair partied the night away, fellow women’s magazine, InStyle celebrated the launch of “The Conversation with Amanda De Cadenet.” Model-turned-actress, Joy Bryant showed her support on the red carpet in a sequined top and fringe cross body purse.

Cuba Gooding Jr. and Dewanda Wise hit the red carpet for Disney’s ABC Television and Hallmark Hall of Fame premiere of their new film, Firelight.

And of course there are always those celebs who leave room for shock. Nicki Minaj and Ashanti were caught in some very surprising looks. Ashanti’s just checking out of a performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live", but Nicki gave us true shock in  fur, stars, space boots.
