Red carpet and award season is always so refreshing because it brings all the lavish looks from our favorite stars. In the most recent installment VH1 hosted their 3rd annual Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms at the Huntington Library, Art Collection and Botanical Gardens grounds in San Marina, Calif., Saturday night and boy did the mamas step out.

Lala Anthony hosted the event with Emmy nominated Blackish star Anthony Anderson. Special guests included the queen of R&B Mary J Blige, Halle Berry, Kelly Rowland and Gladys Knight.

As the host, Lala made sure to keep it stylish wearing a sexy red number. The real hit on her look was beautiful gold foil down the middle part of her hair. Lala’s mother Carmen Surillo and son Kayan Anthony joined her for the event and as expected Lala made sure to give her momma the props she deserves for being the strong figure in her life.

“I definitely want to take a minute to acknowledge my mother Carmen Surillo who has been there for me through the best times, the toughest times, everything. Thank you so much mom for being my rock. You are definitely the real MVP” said Anthony.

All of the ladies looked absolutely beautiful as they all honored their mothers in special ways. Although Mother’s Day is a week away it’s never too early to give thanks for all they do.

Check out the beautiful ladies from the event below.
