From the legendary B. Michael to the young fashionistas behind the designs of William Okpo, our EBONY Style team caught up with the most influential Black designers in Fashion today. 

LaQuan Smith gushed about his Bond girl musings for his F/W 13' collection and Emerge designer Bishme Cromarie spoke on the culture of sewing in the Black community. David Tlale presented an amazing collection that wooed lucky attendees. Laura Smalls spoke on her love of "dressy" dresses and women in feminine wear, while Sukeina designer Omar Salam welcomed the style team to his lovely home on the Upper East Side to get a personal viewing of his dynamic collection.
