There are few moments that have the power to extract the kind of wonder that anticipating Christmas morning holds for a young child.

Every moment leading up to MegaFest holds that kind of expectancy for me.

As one who truly loves people, I yearn for the days filled with familiar faces traveling from virtually every corner of the globe by air, train, bus and car, having sacrificed to bring the gift of their presence to the world's largest family reunion. For me, that is the thrill of MegaFest.

It is an oasis in the desert, a place for refreshing, and seeking answers to life's conundrums.  It is a place for discovery as well as recovery. Knowing that our God is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20)

MegaFest is about us coming together as a family for a time of celebration.

It reminds me that I have not lost the wonder of my childhood or the ability to be thoroughly amazed. For me, it is like Christmas. Every day, I get to unwrap the most glorious gifts and share them with the world. And when it's over and every last drop of my energy is expended, I will wipe my brow and sigh with a deep soulful satisfaction knowing that MegaFest has once again exceeded even my wildest expectations.

Get Ready. Get Ready. Get Ready.

This is going to be BIG!
