Tracee Ellis Ross has partnered with CVS Pharmacy customers to get folks to Stand Up To Cancer.

The Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated actress is the ambassador of the Value of a Dollar campaign, one that seeks to accelerate the pace of cancer research.

The campaign will take place between Oct. 29-Nov. 19 where CVS Pharmacy customers will have the opportunity to donate $1 or $3 at the pin pad or online.

“I am honored to help raise awareness and funds for Stand Up To Cancer through CVS Health’s fundraising campaign,” Ross said in a statement sent to Entertainment Tonight. “Cancer has touched so many of our lives, and I hope everyone will join me in helping make more cancer patients into survivors by donating in stores or online.”

This isn’t Ross’ first rodeo will cancer awareness. The Golden Globe-winning actress was one of the first star’s of Lifetime’s Five, an anthology of short films that explored the impact of breast cancer on the lives of those affected and their family members in 2011.
