The BET Awards 2021 performance line-up is centering a wide range of hip-hop, R&B, and pop acts that will take “culture’s biggest night” to another level. Acts such as Migos, City Girls, Lil Durk, Tyler, The Creator, Roddy Ricch, and many more will join the star-studded lineup, while Tone Stith and Bree Runway will be gracing the BET Amplified Stage to showcase “the next big thing in music.”

Moneybagg Yo, continuing the success of his No. 1 album A Gangsta’s Pain, will make his award show performance debut during the event. Jazmine Sullivan, H.E.R., and rap royalty, Rapsody, are all performing live from the Microsoft Theater. “As we return LIVE with culture’s biggest night, this year’s show marks many firsts—including the highest number of performers in 21 years of BET Awards; and viewers can expect several surprise moments,” said Connie Orlando, EVP of Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy. “Some of today’s hottest talent will join us for our return to L.A. for an unforgettable night celebrating Black excellence.”

Hosted by Taraji P. Henson, the Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated actor and filmmaker will conduct this spectacle, which will also be honoring award-winning, Oscar-nominated actor and hip-hop icon Queen Latifah with this year’s Lifetime Achievement BET Award. With this year’s nominations out, Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby lead all comers with a total of seven nominations each, including “Best Female Hip-Hop Artist,” and “Video of the Year,” for the former, and “Best Male Hip-Hop Artist,” and “Album of the Year,” for the latter’s Blame it on Baby release.

Cardi B and Drake follow closely behind with five nominations each. Other leading nominees include Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars (as Silk Sonic), Chloe x Halle, and Chris Brown, who have all garnered four nominations.

The show will air live at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on BET, Sunday, June 27. Voting for the 2021 Viewer’s Choice Award is happening now. You can get the latest updates by visiting BET.com/Awards.
