For the first time in 30 years, Salt Lake City, Utah will host the 2023 NBA All-Star Game at Vivint Arena. As the most highly-anticipated All-Star event in American professional sports, NBA All-Star Weekend begins this Thursday night, February 16, 2023 with concerts and other events being held at various venues throughout Salt Lake City.
While the All-Star Game and other competitions are the big draws for basketball fanatics, there are many more events catered to kids and adults that will provide an unforgettable experience for those in attendance.

The 2023’s NBA All-Star Weekend begins with the American Express X Turner Road Show Concert. Wiz Khalifa and Chlöe Bailey are slated to perform plus live studio broadcasts with Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson beginning at 7PM ET.

Google Pixel is joining the fun during All-Star Weekend with its “Pixel Playground,” a fully immersive hoops experience that brings streetball culture from across the country directly to fans in Salt Lake City. Google will be recreating its Pixel pick-up game at the center of the activation, surrounded by pop-up experiences inspired by various facets of hoops culture that the entire family can enjoy. The event will be free for all guests and open to the public starting Friday, February 17, 2023 through Sunday, February 19, 2023, with each day featuring daytime and evening programming. HBCU Night will take place on Friday, Feb, 17, 2023 starting at 6:00PM MT at Sky SLC.

NBA Crossover is a weekend-long event that fuses basketball and culture through the art, fashion, music, technology and entertainment surrounding today's game. The event will engage fans with immersive experiences, brand activations, live performances, appearances by NBA and WNBA players, limited edition merchandise and collectibles, art and memorabilia, apparel customization, plus much more.
GRIT Rail Jam, presented by the Utah Sports Commission, Utah Jazz, and Cactus Jack

The Grit Rail Jam is fun for all of ages. Travis Scott has partnered with professional snowboarder and businessman Jeremy Jones to enlist a roster of athletes for a two-day snowboarding competition held at Olympic Park at The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City. The top male and female snowboarders who win will be allowed to join the pro competition the following day. The Professional Snowboard Competition is set to go on Saturday, February 18, with Scott slated to attend.
