Today's letter is from White man who outraged at the hypocrisy of the criminal justice system and who acknowledges his own privilege when it comes to navigating that system.

"Dear Marissa" by David, an American

"I'm White, male, and haven't suffered or witnessed domestic violence…But as an American — and a human — I want you to have the same rights as me, and I'm appalled by the hypocrisy of our criminal-justice system."
