Rapper 50 Cent profited over bitcoin and he didn’t even know it.
He was the first rapper to accept bitcoin as payment for his work and was paid about 700 bitcoins in sales for Animal Ambition, according to TMZ.
He was paid around 700 bitcoins, which was worth $662 in 2014. Bitcoin is now worth between $10k and $12k, meaning………………………….
50 Cent made anywhere between $7 and $8.5 million in profits. And funny enough, he forgot he even allowed these purchases a few years prior.
“I’m a keep it real I forgot I did that sh*t” he said under his original celebratory Instagram.
