If you're not familiar with the line Hanifa, let us introduce you to the haute fashion label designed by the creative wonder Anifa Mvuemba, famous for shaking up the fashion industry in the midst of the pandemic with her 3D virtual fashion show in May 2020. A year later, in the fall, the D.C.-based designer held her first in-person fashion show—which was attended by the who's who of the Black style cognoscenti—in the nation's capitol at National Portrait Gallery, showcasing her Fall/Winter 2021 collection, which she aptly titled a “Dream.” The self-taught designer creates clothing that flatters the figures of curvaceous girls, and we can't get enough of them.
