A former Oklahoma City police officer accused of raping and sexually assaulting twelve different women and one underage teenager will be judged by an all white jury.

Daniel Holtzclaw is charged with 36 felony counts of rape, sexual battery, indecent exposure and forcible oral sodomy, all acts he allegedly executed will on duty.

The overwhelming majority of Holtzclaw’s accusers are Black.

They each reported that the sexual assaults took place in areas where he regularly patrolled. Many women reported that he forced them into his squad car and drove them to secluded locations.

Some say he insisted on taking them home and sexually assaulted them there. Women also reported that Holtzclaw returned to their homes to assault and harass them on multiple occasions.
